Rotech Subsea is a world leader in controlled-flow excavation.
Our in-house designed tools are accurate, powerful and controllable and can excavate a variety of seabed materials which would be impossible using other methods.
We have a team of competent personnel that can fully operate every tool and our operations team can find a solution to any excavation challenge.
Our equipment can be mobilised from bases in the USA (Houston), UK (Aberdeen), Mexico (Carmen), Singapore and Sharjah.
This is the largest of our mass flow excavation tools. The T8000 system develops 600 horse power and can be deployed to a water depth of 300 metres.
The T8000 is suitable for any type of large scale excavations.
It produces water flow rates of up to 8000 litres per second and water jet speeds up to 8 metres per second.

The T4000 system develops 350 horse power and can also be deployed to a water depth of 300 metres for mass flow excavation.
It boasts water flow rates of up to 4900 litres per second and water jet speeds of up to 11 metres per second.

This tool is used to simultaneously excavate either side of larger pipes in more shallow.
The 350 horse power tool can be used in water depths of 1.5 metres to 300 metres.
It has water flow rates of up to 4700 litres per second and a water jet speed of up to 11 metres per second.

The Deep Water Power Pack allows us to take the T4000 to water depths of between 300 metres and 3000 metres.
It features a remotely operated subsea electro-hydraulic power pack, supplied with electrical power by a diesel generator, that drives the excavation tool.

Our Jetting Rings can be fitted to any of our excavation tools to help deal with harder soils in certain areas around the world.
The ring creates high pressure, low flow rate jets which is ideal for breaking up tougher soils of up to 400 kPa.

In situations requiring a deep excavation, the seabed material which has been loosened and excavated by our mass flow tools may be removed and deposited away from the work area by the S250 Suction Excavator
The S250 may be in addition be fitted with a jetting ring to further agitate and loosen the seabed and is deployed in the same way as our other tools. The Deep Water Power Pack can also be used for the S250 Suction Excavator.
The 250 horse power tool pumps 4000 gallons per minute of slurry and can pass solids of up to 2 inches.
The S250 is driven and deployed using a T4000 or T8000 HPU and spooler, so it can be used in conjunction with our mass flow excavation tools to evacuate large holes without the need to bring in a separate suction pump spread and crew.
The S250 can be hired out with its own powerpack, spooler and personnel or may share these services if being used in conjunction with our mass flow excavation tools.

The Rotech Underwater Power Pack (UPP) replaces the usual topside diesel-powered hydraulic pump with an electrically driven hydraulic pump sited with the tool, to permit operation in much deeper water than is possible with the standard arrangement.
